You And Me, Always Book Cover Nails
Hello everyone! This week I've been inspired by the cover of Jill Mansell's latest book You And Me, Always for a nail design!
This book cover is so pretty I couldn't resist painting it onto my nails!
I painted her last book cover for Three Amazing Things About You onto my nails last year and I wrote about how much her love all her books there so I won't go into that again, although I easily could!
The base colour I used is Barry M's 'Turquoise' which I think has been discontinued and I'm quite upset about this as I love this shade of blue! I'm desperately trying to find a similar replacement polish! The rest of the design is hand painted using acrylic paint!
At first I was a little bit hesitant to paint the little cottage because I wasn't sure if I would be able to recreate on such a small scale accurately but I'm really happy with how it turned out!
I love the roses and painted these on my other hand meaning my hands matched! I think this design would make a lovely Valentine's Day nail design!
