Georgia Nicolson (Angus,Thongs) Book Nails
Hello everyone! This week I was completely devastated to hear that the author of my favourite teenage book series, Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging, Louise Rennison died.
These books were a massive part of my early teenage years and I've got so much to thank her for, so I think it's only right to do my nails inspired by these books.
Georgia was the first fictional character I really connected with, and Dave the Laugh was the first fictional character I fell in love with! I've reread these books countless times and I still turn to them now if I need cheering up!
For these nails I chose one of my favourite quotes from the series, 'He said "Hi,gorgeous", which I think is nice. I admire honesty' from the second book, 'It's OK, I'm wearing really big knickers!'.
There are so many 'marvy' quotes from all 10 books but I just love this one! Georgia's sense of humour matches mine exactly!
The nail polishes used are 'Peach Melba', 'Bug a Blue', 'Sugar Apple', Berry Ice Cream' and 'In a Heartbeat', all Barry M! The design is hand painted using acrylic paint.
Louise Rennison - 'You make me laugh like a loon on loon tablets!'
Her books stood out as the best in the genre... Loved them, even as an adult. So sad to hear that she is gone. You have made a nice tribute here.
